Do I need to see my doctor first?

No, you may consult a Chartered Physiotherapist in private practice without a doctor’s referral.

We have an online booking system. To make an appointment you will be able to arrange a convenient time more quickly on this link

Please telephone us with as much notice as possible, at least 24 hours, and we will offer you an alternative time and/or date. If you fail to give 24 hours notice, or do not attend your appointment, you will be liable for a cancellation fee. (This is standard practice in most clinics because it is difficult to offer that appointment to another patient with less notice).

We charge competitive rates and our fee structure is monitored by the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice. You can find our rates and book your appointment on the following link.

Please pay for each session that you attend at the time. Due to Covid-19, payments can be made online or in person using your card. Our card readers are contactless.
If you have medical insurance we may be able to invoice the insurance company directly. We are approved by all of the medical insurance providers including BUPA, AXAPPP, Aviva, Pruhealth, Simply Health and Cigna etc. Please check with your insurer’s help-line to confirm your level of cover and whether you have an excess to pay. Please bring your insurance pre-authorisation and policy numbers to your first appointment.
We are unable to treat babies and very young children but there is no upper age limit. Parents are requested to accompany children under sixteen.
That is entirely up to you. If we are examining your back you may be required to undress to your underwear on the first assessment but subsequently just the part of your spine to be treated may need to be exposed. If we are examining your knee you may like to wear a pair of shorts. Your privacy and dignity will always be respected.
Please bring a list of any medication that you are taking. Please bring method of payment or your Insurance details. Please bring your diary so that we can make your next appointment to suit your other commitments. We will also require your medical history during the assessment and if you have access to any reports of recent investigations, this will be very useful.
