Kelly has extensive musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience. Having graduated from Coventry University in 2004. She then worked at University Hospitals of Leicester Trust for three years before specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, with a Senior Physiotherapy role at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust in 2007. She then progressed to a Specialist Musculoskeletal role at the same trust in 2009. In 2021, Kelly progressed into an Advanced Clinical Practitioner Physiotherapist post at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, where she now works as a First Contact Practitioner and in advanced musculoskeletal clinics, providing specialist triage, treatments and steroid injections. She has also gained experience in the private sector, working at a sports Physiotherapy clinic in Loughborough and being part of the Physiotherapy team for the London marathon.
Kelly has extensive experience in joint injection therapy, having qualified in this area 2013. She is able to provide a range of steroid injections and is skilled in delivering these in both the NHS and private sectors. She has a particular interest in this area and is also a member of a local special interest group in injection therapy, ensuring her practice is at the cutting edge of the latest research and the techniques used are the most accurate and comfortable for patients.
Kelly also has a special interest in acupuncture and has extensive training in this area, gaining her Masters in Acupuncture from Coventry University in 2011. Kelly is a skilled and well-rounded physiotherapist and is able to treat all aspects of injury and rehabilitation.
